EnglishQuiet evening music is floating in the sky,
Our plant is shining like lightnings in July.
Over there a train is riding, points of light,
Somewhere by a rowan-tree guys meet me tonight.
Chorus:Oh, you my bushy rowan-tree,
White at first, then red.
Oh, you rowan-tree, rowan-tree,
Why are you so sad?
When the songful hooters get silent after work,
I go to the rowan-tree where we have a lurk.
There are two fellows that I am meeting with —
On my right the turner sits, on my left – blacksmith.
Chorus:Daily meetings in the shop always are so bright.
Why are we so silent, say, when we meet at night?
Summer stars have seen me with these two guys before,
But they don’t know, glimmering, which one I like more…
Chorus:White snow cover on the land winter starts to lay,
Like a flock of summer birds, autumn flew away.
But we still keep walking and walking, all the three,
On the narrow rocky path to the rowan-tree.
Chorus:Which of them is dearer, whose arm should I take?
Now the choice is difficult, choice is hard to make.
Both of them are fearless, both of them are kind…
Oh, my dear rowan-tree, please make up my mind!
Oh, you my bushy rowan-tree,
Both of them are kind.
Oh, you rowan-tree, rowan-tree,
Please make up my mind!
Oh tu mon sorbier, petit sorbier,
Oh, mon cher p
etit sorbier, dis-moi, quel garçon!
Oh, tu mon sorbier moutonné,
Tous les deux sont bons.
Oh tu mon sorbier, petit sorbier,
Dis-moi, quel garçon!
